Seven Decades of Craft, Community & Great Coffee

Speeds Coffee Shop opened its doors in 1953, and for over 70 years we've been more than a coffee shop — we've been a gathering place. Battle Creek residents have come to us for quiet mornings, lively conversations, and the kind of service that makes you feel like family.

Every cup we pour is roasted with intention. Every pastry comes from our kitchen fresh that same morning. We believe the small rituals of a good coffee and a warm conversation are worth preserving, and we take that seriously.
